The foundation stone for BALDEV SINGH INTER GIRLS COLLEGE, Jaspur was laid on 1st February 2016,Chairman of the School. Mr. Mukesh Chauhan was appointed as the founder Principal and given the responsibility to start a public a in Jaspur. The School started its first session in April with the admission of 400 students, up to Class 8, with 20 teachers in 20 classrooms. Within a span of one year, the School had a strength of 600 students in the session 2017 - 18. With the hard work of Principal and her team, the School build its place amongst the best public schools in the jaspur-city. In June , the school was later renamed as BALDEV SINGH INTER COLLEGE in memory of Best Bright future.

The Family started a Trust to lend financial assistance and support to the school. Dr.Mukesh Chauhan directed the proceeds awarding scholarships to the poor & needy students of the school. The books are donated to the school library through the Baldev Singh  Inter College, Educational & Charitable Trust. Every year, the best seven teachers of the session are awarded by this trust on Teacher,The generous financial contributions by Mr. Mukesh Chauhan  has been of paramount importance in establishing the school .

The school excels in academics, cultural, social and sports. The school had made its name in the field of Football up to District level.  School has won accolades in both scholastic and co- scholastic area for the past  years. 

We got affiliation from CBSE this year upto class X.

AIM: Students know what they will learn.
ACTION: Students experience the concepts themselves through hands- on activities and experimentation to understand their use and application in real life.
ANALYSIS: Students reflect on the experience and explore the concept further through questions & answers.
APPLICATION: Students use workbooks to apply and practice what they’ve learnt and improve their writing skills.
ASSESSMENT: Students take periodic tests that measure and give feedback on development in 3 key areas: Conceptual Understanding, Applied Thinking, and English language & comprehension.

Baldev Singh Inter College is a current years young institution. We feel 'wise' on one hand, when we look at the established identity we enjoy as an institution where learning is purposeful, progressive and empowering. On the other hand, we feel the excitement of an inititate because each day executed well makes us eager to learn, to explore, to experiment and absorb more.

The past few years have been the touchstone of our vision for BSIC. The oyster has nurtured and created the pearly concept of techno-savy education weaved into a strong moral fibre. The intuitive ingenuity and innovative expertise manifest in edifying educational trips, eclectic competitive events, inspiring night camps, ceremonial echoes, exuberant activities and didactic scholastics have galvanized BSICeens as winners in the dynamic domain of learning.

In my vision, education is nothing but another form of meditation. All that usually goes on in the name of education is secondary. The priority should be given to meditation — education of the inner. Unless you become acquainted with yourself, all your knowledge is useless.Education should prepare you to be yourself. Right now it prepares you to be an imitator; it teaches you how to be like others. This is miseducation. Right education will teach you how to be yourself, authentically yourself. You are unique.

There is nobody like you, has never been, will never be. This is a great respect that God has showered on you. This is your glory, that you are unique. Don’t become imitative, don’t become carbon copies. But that’s what your so-called education goes on doing: it makes carbon copies; it destroys your original face. The word “education” has two meanings, both are beautiful. One meaning is very well known, although not practiced at all, that is: to draw something out of you. “Education” means: to draw out that which is within you, to make your potential actual, like you draw water from a well.

At the outset, let me thank you for considering BALDEV SINGH INTER COLLEGE as a choice for your child.

Let me share with you some of my beliefs about schooling:

• Our mission is to make the children aware of the beauty of the world around them, sensitise them to the environment, social and otherwise, help them to make responsible choices in life.
• We strive to enable children to see, feel, sense and touch life as It is.

• We at BALDEV build the base of a future India right from the first step the child takes in school and carries on till he passes out of its corridors as a knowing, caring, responsible and extremely conscientious citizen of India.
• We are known as a school that believes and focuses on a holistic approach to education. In addition to the regular scholastic subjects we expose the students to a wide range of co-scholastic activities. Our endeavour  is to prepare students for life.

• We are known as a school with high expectations, high standards and high achievements. To support

our students in their endeavours, we appreciate the encouragement and motivation parents give their

children at home because it has been our experience that children who are well adjusted and able to

meet classroom expectations are the ones who get that support at home.

• We believe that school should be a space that a child looks forward to come to. With that end in view,

our teachers ensure the well-being of each and every child.

• Academic achievement is extremely important. However it is not the only aspect of school. Encourage

your kids to participate in and enjoy the entire spectrum of activities that the school has to offer.

• As a school we have a firm discipline code in place however we do not believe in punishment, but in

course correction. If we work collaboratively and praise good behavior and ignore bad behavior, I

am sure we will see positive results. We need to be firm and consistent if we want well behaved and

happy kids.

• Attach the utmost importance to school norms so that the child understands the value of discipline.

This will make life easy for parent, child and teacher. It will also translate into success for the child.
