It is one of the oldest departments of the college. The department has well equipped advance laboratories and highly qualified and committed faculty. Specialization in Environmental Engineering and Pollution Controlhas been started in 1990. Department also has very good testing facilities and has significantly contributed in providing testing and consultancy services to local industries and government departments since its inception in 1966. Faculty members of the departments are involved in research activities and have presented their research work in national / international conferences and have published in reputed journals. One of the faculty members of the department has visited abroad to present his research work.
