The story of Smart Readywear’s successful rise began with a commitment. From the outset, Mr. Surinder Kohli - founder made a commitment to offer largest selection of quality men and women wear at everyday prices. Over the years, Smart has remained true to that promise. Smart races it’s beginning to over 23 years ago when Smart began tailoring under the name of Smart Tailors in Sector 37, Chandigarh. In 1992, Smart Readywears launched a single, family-onwed clothing store in Sector 17, Chandigarh with employees. From a 235 sq feet retail establishment; today Smart has grown to become a multi brand store of 1600 sq. ft located in the heart of the city. SMART has assortment of brands spread across three floors. The first and second floor offers more than 50 brands in menswear and womenswear-including dresses, jeans, t-shirts, shirts, shoes and accessories. We stock quality brand names like Puma, Levis, Nike, Zodiac, Blackberry, Wrangler, Fila, Lee cooper and many more. The 3rd floor is dedicated to Indian groom section offering a wide range of fashionable and unique fabrics ranging from sherwanis, ready-to-wear three-piece business suit, trouser suit or waist coats to accessories needed for definitive finishing touches. For the brand conscious male, it houses all the leading Indian and international brands as part of their ready-to-wear and fabric segment. The underlying essence of Smart’s repute is the quality of their staff that they have maintained over the years. Smart owes its success to the fact that it has always been an employee-centered store. From the beginning, Smart has made it a priority to create a culture in which employees have a genuine pride in their careers and sense of belonging.
